Developing Coaches Course (ARU Level 2)

Brumbies Rugby usually hold a Developing Coaches Courses in Canberra each year. The Developing Coaches Course covers a number of key modules. The course runs for 3 consecutive days, and uses a variety of presenters from Brumbies and ARU staff, to local Premier Grade coaches. There is a mix of classroom and field based sessions covering all areas of the game.

Coaches completing the Developing Coaches Course can then progress through to attain their ARU Level 2 Coaching Accreditation.

LEVEL 2 ACCREDITATION

To gain ARU Level 2 accreditation coaches will need to;

  • Complete a Developing Coaches Course
  • Pass a Level 2 Law and Safety exam
  • Complete a Self-Reflection form
  • Complete 60 hours of session plans in a Coaching Diary
  • Complete a Coach Assessment with a coach educator
